GRASA UNIUYO CHAT HOUSE IS HERE!!…
University of Uyo Postgraduate Students’ Association (GRASA) sets to role out her second edition of *GRASA CHAT HOUSE; featuring Arc. Ezekiel Nya-Etok FNIA; the Akwa Ibom State gubernatorial candidate of the Young Democratic Party(YDP) as its chief guest.
GRASA Chat House is cladded with the following aims and objectives:
1. It seeks to connect its analysis and ideas with as wide an audience as possible in order to support informed policy decisions.
2. Serves as a veritable platform for independent and rigorous analysis on academic, entrepreneurial, religious, political, sociocultural, traditional, national and international affairs.
3.it also sets out to promote the study and investigation of national questions by means of lectures, interactive sessions and discussions.
4. The outcome of the GRASA CHAT will offer new ideas and proposals, influence government policies, as well as lay impact on law making processes. It will serve as a road map for new opportunities in areas such as in (2) above. These policy recommendations will be developed in collaboration with policy markers, experts and stakeholders in each of these areas.
5. Again, very pivotal among its aims is the recreation of mind-sets amongst the individual participants, there by promoting positive revolution in the aspect of leadership and governance in Nigeria.
GRASA CHAT HOUSE is independent and owes no allegiance to any government or to any political body.
The 2nd edition of GRASA CHAT HOUSE is slated to hold as follows:
